Corinthians team up with firm specialising in infrared thermography

Throughout the afternoon of this Wednesday (18), Corinthians officially announced a partnership with the Spanish technology company ThermoHuman. The brand specializes in infrared thermography – a technique that uses infrared cameras to detect and analyze heat emission from a body.

In sports, this type of technology is used to monitor the physiological state of athletes, detect muscle asymmetries, identify possible injury risks, and track internal load and recovery.

The software can identify a possible injury before it actually appears. In this way, it will be responsible for further improving the physical condition of the athletes. The technology also stands out for its speed in conducting exams and analyzing the results obtained. The partnership comes at a time when Corinthians is facing problems with muscle injuries this season.
