According to L'Équipe, PSG’s 6-1 Champions League win over Slovan Bratislava on Wednesday night drew an average 1.37 million viewers on Canal+, an 8.8% audience share.

The Parisians lit up the Parc des Princes as they opened their European campaign in style.

Canal+ ranked third among national channels, behind TF1’s Tracker with 2.78 million viewers and France 2’s Les évaporés with 2.46 million.

A year earlier, PSG-Atlanta, which finished 4-0, attracted 1.58 million viewers on Canal+, with an 8.9% share.

On Tuesday, Lille-Betis Séville, which ended 2-3, averaged 541,000 viewers on the channel, a 3.5% share.
