The Egyptian outlet “FilGoal” reports that Ahmed Abdelkader (26), a midfielder for Al Ahly, has set a clear condition for renewing his contract with the club.Abdelkader’s current deal is set to expire at the end of this season. The club is working to reach an agreement with the player to extend his stay and continue the journey together.

According to an internal source at Al Ahly, the club has made a financial offer to Abdelkader. However, the player is demanding double the proposed amount. Talks are ongoing as both parties seek a mutually satisfying agreement.

Al Ahly are keen to avoid losing such a technically gifted key player for free. It’s worth noting that Abdelkader’s recent return to the pitch under manager Emad El Nahhas has seen him reclaim his place after missing the start of the season, following a decision to exclude him by former coach José Ribeiro.
