Auxerre defender Bryan Okoh suffers anterior cruciate ligament rupture in knee

Auxerre defender Bryan Okoh has sustained an anterior cruciate ligament rupture in a knee.

He was injured during Sunday’s 2-1 win over Nice. According to L'Équipe, early hopes of a medial collateral ligament sprain were ended when tests confirmed ACL damage.

The Swiss defender, 22, arrived from Lausanne-Sport in winter and impressed in the second half of the season, making 13 appearances and scoring three goals.

He quickly established himself as a starter for Auxerre.

Okoh will be out for many months.
