Auxerre pursuing Deadline Day deals for Cameron Archer and Axel Tuanzebe

Southampton centre-forward Cameron Archer (24) could be set for a reunion with Will Still, as Auxerre are looking to secure the Deadline Day signing of the former England U21 international. Onze Mondial reports that Archer has already the Saints to undergo a medical with the Yonne side. The outlet understands that Auxerre have pulled the plug in talks with Torino to sign Zakaria Aboukhlal as both sides failed to reach an agreement.

Cameron Archer is not the only player who could join Stade Abbé-Deschamps on Deadline Day. Le Parisien adds that Manchester United Academy graduate Axel Tuanzebe (28) may make a surprise move to Auxerre. The DR Congo international centre-back is a free agent upon the expiry of bis Burnley contract.
