Pedro Fernandez Dro’s decision to leave Barcelona this week has come as a huge shock for the club, who were devastated to lose out on one of their star talents.
Dro has made the decision after failing to get into the first team, with reports suggesting that he is closing in on a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The decision hasn’t gone down well with Barcelona’s management, and especially Hansi Flick, who made his disappointment known in public.
However, Dro’s decision hasn’t had a great impact on Barça Atletic coach Juliano Belletti, who pointed out that La Masia has many other talents it can count on.
Speaking after the game against Andrax, Belletti was asked about Dro’s imminent departure, to which he confirmed that the player hadn’t informed him of his desire to leave the club.
“He has not communicated anything to me; I have found out from my staff, who have told me before. There are a lot of good players here. I think the club, especially at the moment, is very good in this sense,” Belletti said after the game (h/t Diario SPORT).

The Barça Atletic coach went on to point out that there are many talents like Dro waiting for their opportunities in the first team.
“We see how Juan Hernández, Dani, Cuenca, Álvaro are playing… There are many options here,” he said.
“There is a very important competitiveness within the club, and that is good for the coach. And for the players, because it makes them look to improve. We are all working to make sure that they are ready for the first team,” he added.
The report adds that Belletti was in favour of moving on from Dro and was more focused on players who wanted to remain at Barça.
