Brighton & Hove Albion sign Norwegian international midfielder Tvedten

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Seagulls this afternoon.
The 25-year-old joins Brighton & Hove Albion from Norwegian Toppserien club Vålerenga where she has spent the last four-and-a-half years. Tvedten won two league titles with VIF, along with three domestic cups. The player has been a regular goalscorer in the Toppserien in recent seasons. Tvedten has netted more than a half-century of goals in the Norwegian top flight.
On the international stage, Tvedten has one cap for Norway at senior level. She has been in and around the squad over the course of the last five years.
Tvedten is a quality attacking player and she will be hoping to help create and score goals in England with Brighton & Hove Albion.
After adding Tvedten to his squad, Brighton & Hove Albion boss Dario Vidošić said “We’re really excited to welcome Olaug to the team. She’s a technical goal-scoring midfielder with real quality, and we’re looking forward to seeing the impact she can make heading into the second half of the season.”
Tvedten is Brighton & Hove Albion’s first signing of the January transfer window.
