Leeds United have ended interest in signing Mykhailo Mudryk on loan from Chelsea.
Daniel Farke's side had held talks with Chelsea over the prospect of signing Mudryk on a season-long agreement, as the Ukraine winger looks to get his career back on track.
Mudryk wascleared to return to professional football earlier this month, having been suspended since November 2024 after a banned substance was found in a drugs test.
The 26-year-old denied any intentional wrongdoing and was cleared to return, following an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS)
Leeds were one of several clubs to enquire about his availability and move to Elland Road was understood to be the player's preference. However,BBC Sport report that talks have ended between the clubs over a potential deal.
Coventry City, Roma, Atalanta Napoli and Chelsea's sister-club, Strasbourg, have all expressed interest in the winger. Brentford also saw an approach rejected after an attempt to include a purchase option in the loan.
Chelsea's focus is on ensuring Mudryk receives regular playing time, and want to include financial penalties for any loan club should he not feature as expected. His future at Stamford Bridge will be reassessed in 2027 after a season of regular minutes.
