Five Leeds United transfers to watch this week as Mykhailo Mudryk targeted | OneFootball

Leeds United are exploring several late deals this week, with a loan for Mykhailo Mudryk under discussion. According to Leeds Live, Chelsea are open to an exit as he builds fitness after 20 months out, and talks continue after an initial approach was rejected.

Daniel Farke’s side opened the Premier League with a 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest and face them again on Tuesday in the Carabao Cup second round. Four first-team signings have arrived, Harry Wilson, Nico Elvedi, Tarik Muharemovic and record £40m buy James Trafford. Trafford, Muharemovic and Wilson started on Saturday, with Elvedi unused.

Departures include Pascal Struijk to Brighton for around £20m, Joe Gelhardt to Hull City and Isaac Schmidt, Jack Harrison, Illan Meslier, Karl Darlow and Maximilian Wober.

Back-up goalkeeper Lucas Perri could leave, with Torino targeting an initial loan and £12m option, Tuttomercato reports. Juventus have also been linked.

Leeds are confident of landing Michael Zetterer from Eintracht Frankfurt as deputy to Trafford. The Athletic reported a deal was set to be agreed on that basis, though one of Zetterer’s agents refuted that a move is close. Even so, the report added the club remain optimistic.

Leeds are also monitoring Midtjylland winger Dario Osorio alongside Liverpool and Everton. Up front, Liam Delap has fallen out of favour at Chelsea after moving from Ipswich, where he scored 12 in 40. A £50m permanent deal is beyond Leeds for now, but a loan or lower fee could be explored as Farke seeks cover for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
