According to BBC UK, Conor Coady has left Wrexham after his contract was ended by mutual consent.
The centre-back joined from Leicester City in the 2025 summer window for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around £2m. He had entered the final year of his deal, which carried a club option for an extra 12 months.
Coady started Wrexham's opening five matches of the 2025-26 campaign, then slipped down the pecking order in north Wales. He spent the mid-season window on loan at Charlton Athletic, making 12 appearances for the Addicks.
He has not been named in any of Wrexham's four matchday squads across all competitions so far this season.
Wrexham are closing in on a deal to sign centre-back Joe Worrall from Championship rivals Burnley. Manager Phil Parkinson also remains eager to add a forward before Tuesday's 23:00 BST transfer deadline.
