According to Football Italia, Lazio completed deadline-day loans sending Boulaye Dia to Rennes and Petar Ratkov to Levante, both containing options that could convert into obligations under set conditions.
For Dia, Stade Rennais have paid a €2m loan fee with an €8m option, which would become an obligation if they avoid relegation.
Confirmation arrived late in the evening that Ratkov had joined Levante UD on what is believed to be a €2m paid loan with a €14m option, turning obligatory if he scores 10 goals.
Ratkov’s spell in Rome was contentious, with Maurizio Sarri saying in January he did not know the player signed from RB Salzburg for €13m plus bonus. Gennaro Gattuso was also unconvinced, and the Croatia international departs after nine appearances, only three from the start.
Lazio were active on incomings too, securing Albert Gudmundsson from Fiorentina on a reported €1m paid loan with an option to buy, for a package said to be around €11m plus €0.5m in add-ons.
