Dominic Calvert-Lewin led Leeds United's reaction after a 1-1 draw at Brentford, praising the travelling fans as Daniel Farke's side came from behind to earn a point.

According to Leedsunited.news, Calvert-Lewin, who scored his fourth goal in as many games, was disappointed not to take all three points after Leeds had the better of a tight contest in London.

On Instagram, he wrote: “A point gained on the road. Travelling support unbelievable again. MOT.” Team-mate Noah Okafor replied with “My striker” and a heart emoji.

Gabriel Gudmundsson also thanked the away end and called it a good point, while goalkeeper Lucas Perri said the team would keep going and wished supporters a safe journey home.

Captain Ethan Ampadu led the side at Brentford and made his 100th appearance, becoming the 179th Leeds player to reach the milestone. He said afterwards that he was honoured to hit the century and praised the effort to come back.
