Gabriel Mec bids farewell to Grémio after FC Porto switch | OneFootball

Gabriel Mec, the 18-year-old Brazilian winger, has posted a social media video bidding farewell to Grémio after completing a move to FC Porto.

He was confirmed on Wednesday, following Santiago Gimenez and Souza. O Jogo reports that he has signed a five-year contract with an €80 million release clause.

The transfer is worth €11 million, rising to €12 million if sporting targets are met.

Grémio will retain 12% of any profit from a future sale and will assume solidarity payments due to third parties.

Porto will pay intermediary fees equating to 4.5% of the fixed fee, increasing to a maximum of 9% if objectives are met.

In the 2026 Brazilian season, Mec recorded three goals and two assists across 32 appearances for the Porto Alegre club.
