Porto announce Gabriel Mec and confirm 11 million euros transfer with Grêmio | OneFootball

Porto have completed the signing of 18-year-old attacking midfielder Gabriel Mec from Grêmio.

The club said in a statement that he has signed until 2031 and that Porto bought 100% of his economic rights for a fixed 11 million euros, with up to one million in bonuses. It added that intermediary costs are 4.5% of the fixed fee, potentially rising to nine percent if objectives are met.

Grêmio held 80% of Mec’s economic rights, equating to about R$ 52 million of the total disclosed by Porto.

The Brazilian club also retain 12% of any future capital gain, defined as the difference between Porto’s outlay and any resale income.

An academy product at Grêmio, Mec played 32 matches in 2026, scoring three and supplying two assists.
