Allan becomes Palmeiras’ third-biggest sale as Manchester City confirm signing

Manchester City have announced the signing of former Palmeiras forward Allan. According to Globo.com, the deal is worth €40m, €37.5m fixed plus €2.5m in bonuses, on a five-year contract, making him the club’s third-biggest sale.
Allan said farewell on social media with a video charting his journey from academy to first team. He recalled arriving at 15, spoke of unforgettable moments, lessons from mistakes and difficult spells, and thanked Palmeiras for trusting him from the start.
Only Estêvão’s move to Chelsea and Endrick’s to Real Madrid rank higher. All three are academy graduates. Estêvão’s transfer totals €61.5m, split between €45m fixed and €16.5m in achievable add-ons.
Endrick’s operation amounts to €72m including €12m in taxes and fees payable in Spain, with €35m fixed to Palmeiras and a further €25m in performance bonuses.
Palmeiras’ biggest outgoing deals now read, Estêvão to Chelsea €61.5m, Endrick to Real Madrid €60m, Allan to Manchester City €40m, Vitor Reis to Manchester City €35m and Gabriel Jesus to Manchester City €32m. Other major exits include Richard Ríos to Benfica €30m and Luis Guilherme to West Ham €30m, plus Danilo to Nottingham Forest €20m, Artur to Zenit €18m and Kevin to Shakthar Donetsk €15m.
