Grêmio have suffered another setback. Nardoni has sustained a grade two injury to his left hamstring, and the club estimate a three to four week return.

According to Globo.com, the Argentine felt pain in the area during the second half against Athletico-PR at Arena da Baixada on Saturday night in the 14th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. He requested a substitution and began treatment on the bench.

The injury leaves Grêmio short in the role, as Nardoni is the direct understudy to Arthur, who is treating a grade one problem in his right thigh.

Luís Castro can call on Noriega and Dodi, plus academy youngsters Tiaguinho and Zórtea, for the position. The first two are more defensive.

Grêmio are back in action on Tuesday at 19:00 against Deportivo Riestra in Argentina in the Copa Sul-Americana.
