Sky Sport Italia claims Lazio and Fiorentina have reached agreement for Albert Gudmundsson to join on loan with an option to buy.
Sportitalia reports the Iceland international is set for medical tests, while Sky adds Fiorentina have granted permission. Fabrizio Romano says the purchase option is €12m.
Gudmundsson joined Fiorentina from Genoa for €20m in summer 2024 and has spent two seasons at the Artemio Franchi.
He has 19 goals and nine assists in 81 matches for the Viola in all competitions. Across Serie A with Genoa and Fiorentina, he has scored 26 times and provided 10 assists in 105 league appearances.
The move would further strengthen Lazio’s attack after they signed Andrea Pinamonti from Sassuolo last week. Fiorentina are ready to welcome Wilfried Gnonto from Leeds United as a replacement, as well as Beto from Everton.
