Commentator Adam Pope believes that Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk can well imaging making a move to Leeds United this summer.
The 25-year-old was welcomed back into the Chelsea squad last month following the lifting of his ban, which had kept him out of action for around 20 months.
Mudryk subsequently joined the Blues’ pre-season tour and came off the bench in several matches.
But the Ukrainian could still depart Stamford Bridge before the window closes in search of regular playing time.
There have been suggestions that Chelsea’s multi-club project side, Strasbourg, are keen on Mudryk, while there is also interest from Italy.

But the winger is understood to favour remaining in the Premier League, with Leeds subsequently seeing an opportunity to land him.
The Whites have already proposed a straight loan deal, only for Chelsea to reject it, with discussions nevertheless remaining alive over a possible move to Elland Road for the Ukrainian.
Pope pointed out that Mudryk is the latest name to emerge on Leeds’ shortlist, while noting that the Ukrainian has only recently returned from his ban after a long period away from competitive football.
He then considered Strasbourg as another possible destination, but questioned whether Mudryk would prefer that option over remaining in the Premier League.

Pope also stressed that a loan could allow Chelsea to move Mudryk’s wages, collect a fee and get him playing regularly at a club that is not viewed as a direct rival, indicating that Leeds will be an appealing destination for the winger.
“The name that’s popped up the most recently is Mudryk at Chelsea.
“His come back from the ban.
“He’s had an 18-month pre-season eventually, hasn’t he?
“The thing with Chelsea, though, they’ve got Strasbourg, haven’t they?
“So there’s a thought maybe he could end up there, but I’d imagine he’d want to be in Premier League then, wouldn’t you?
“And I’m just thinking, even if it isn’t Leeds, from Chelsea’s point of view, wouldn’t you want a loan fee, somebody take off the wages, and it’s, you know, out the group, out the football group and get a player fit in maybe at a club that they feel isn’t going to be a direct rival.
“So I would imagine he wants to come here.”
Daniel Farke’s side are understood to be offering Mudryk a consistent role as part of the loan deal, though whether Leeds can prise him away or the Ukrainian ultimately ends up elsewhere remains unclear.
Given Mudryk has not played for a consistent period, there may be something of a gamble in the swoop.
The Whites have also been tracking another winger in Igor Paixao, however, Marseille will not sanction his departure
