Leeds United are pushing for a left-sided attacker before the window closes and are considering a loan for Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk. According to Leeds Live, he is among several admired options and an initial loan offer has been rejected.

Mudryk has not played competitively for 18 months after being left out of Chelsea’s squad amid doping allegations. He has always denied knowingly taking banned substances. In June last year, following a provisional suspension, the FA charged the 25-year-old with an anti-doping breach.

In April, he received a four-year Premier League ban, two years already served, but the charges were dropped last month and he became eligible to play again. Chelsea later said advances in testing standards meant his sample would not now be deemed positive.

He returned for 16 minutes in a pre-season friendly against Juventus earlier this month, his first game since December 2024. He is currently training away from the first team. Among that group is Liam Delap, though Leeds sources have denied being in for the striker at present.

Mudryk joined Chelsea for £88.5m in January 2023. He has made 73 competitive appearances, registering 10 goals and 11 assists, with 53 of those outings in the Premier League.
