JP Chermont bids farewell to Santos after Sharjah switch | OneFootball

JP Chermont has bade farewell to Santos on social media after completing a move to Sharjah FC. The transfer is valued at three and a half million dollars, two and a half guaranteed plus one in performance-related add-ons.

According to Diario Do Peixe, Santos hold 75 per cent of his economic rights, with Chermont waiving five per cent to raise the club’s share to 80 per cent. With Coritiba expected to receive a 10 per cent showcase fee, Santos expect roughly R$ 9 million from a package near R$ 18 million.

His loan to Coritiba, set to run until the end of the year, has been terminated. He had impressed in Paraná and drawn overseas interest. Born in Bauru in 2005, he joined Santos in 2018 after catching the eye with Noroeste in the 2017 under-11 Paulista semi-finals. He progressed through Brazil’s youth teams, won the 2023 South American under-17 title, and had been contracted to Santos until the end of 2027.
