Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz sustained a foot injury and faces a lengthy lay-off.

Gazzetta suggests that the 21-year-old has a suspected fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his left foot and is to undergo surgery, with an absence of two and a half to three months that would rule him out of at least 10 Serie A fixtures and 4 Europa League matches.

During Sunday's 1-0 win over Frosinone in Serie A's opening round, he was replaced by Jérémie Boga in the 69th minute.

He was among Juventus’s standout performers last season, registering 14 goals and 10 assists.

He will also miss the next Türkiye camp, with the Nations League group stage starting at home to France on 25 September at 20:45, which will be Zinédine Zidane’s first match in charge of Les Bleus.
