Lazio have reportedly secured an accord with Pogon Szczecin for their young attacking midfielder Adrian Przyborek.

Lazio’s January Deals So Far

The Aquile have already made four signings in January, bringing in Petar Ratkov, Kenneth Taylor, Edoardo Motta, and Daniel Maldini, but they remain keen on closing a few more deals before the end of the month. Claudio Lotito and Angelo Fabiani apparently have their hands on their fifth signing after making rapid progress in the club-to-club negotiations.

Lazio on the Verge of Signing Adrian Przyborek

According to Polish journalist Thomas Wlodarczyk, Lazio have struck a deal with Pogon Szczecin, who agreed to sell Przyborek for a fixed transfer fee of €4.5 million plus €2.5 million in bonuses, and a 20% sell-on fee on a future resale. The 19-year-old is expected to arrive in Rome on Thursday to undergo his medical before signing a contract with the Italian capital club.

The 19-year-old is a creative player who often plays as an attacking midfielder, a role that doesn’t exist in Maurizio Sarri’s 4-3-3 system. Nevertheless, he can be deployed as a box-to-box midfielder, similar to Luis Alberto during the manager’s first reign at Formello.

Przyborek’s Career Path & Stats

The teenager is considered one of the brightest young talents in Poland. He has been at Pozon since 2020 and was promoted to the first team in 2023. He went on to make 83 appearances, scoring five goals and registering 13 assists.
