Davide Frattesi’s proposed switch from Inter to Lazio has been put on hold, with Lega Serie A yet to approve the move, according to Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky Sport Italia.

Alfredo Pedullà reports that the hold-up relates to Lazio’s status on the FIGC liquidity index. The midfielder had been due for a medical on Friday, but the agreement stalled amid concerns over Lazio’s financial position, those outlets said.

Frattesi was set to join for €15m, with Inter retaining a 50% sell-on clause, a substantial drop from earlier valuations of €40m, then €30m.

Terms had been settled between the parties and a medical was planned, subject to approval.

The situation remains unresolved pending the league’s green light.
