Leicester City are active in the market despite no arrivals two weeks into the window. With 16 departures and pre-season under way at Seagrave with last season’s group and returning loanees, several futures remain unclear.

La Stampa reports that, during discussions that also featured Ben Nelson, Torino made an inquiry about Caleb Okoli. Meanwhile, Football League World claims Leicester are competing with QPR to sign free agent Myles Peart-Harris after his short Oxford United deal ended.

Okoli has previously been linked with a return to Italy, with Fiorentina said to be keen, and Torino are now also in the frame.

Leicester’s focus on free agents appears set to continue, with Conor Chaplin linked and tipped to become Russell Martin’s first signing. Davis Keillor-Dunn and Lorent Tolaj have also been mentioned as attacking targets.

Peart-Harris, 23, is a former Chelsea academy player who can operate on the left or as a No 10.
