According to a report by Fabrice Hawkins, Olympique Lyonnais are looking to move quickly to secure the services of Rémy Descamps (28).
The former Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper has been a free agent since his contract at FC Nantes expired at the end of last season. Descamps has earned a reputation as a reputable backup keeper which is what Lyon are looking for this summer.
Déscamps would arrive as the number two to first choice Lucas Perri (26), which is another clear sign that Anthony Lopes has no way back (33) into the team. Lyon have been clear that they are looking to move away from their former number one.
For the first time since 2013, Lopes was benched by Lyon in a Ligue 1 game when the club opened their campaign with a 3-0 loss to Stade Rennais. However, the academy product will not watch on for much longer with Hawkins writing that the club will place Lopes in the “loft” as they try and hasten his exit.
