Recent reports suggest that the Red Devils have unearthed a gem in Dell, who has caught the eye while playing for Brazil’s Under-17 team.

It now appears that the young Bahia forward is not the only player the Premier League giants are monitoring at the Under-17 World Cup.

United want

According to Africa Foot, United are keeping a close eye on Burkina Faso striker Loukman Tapsoba. The 15 year old played the entire 90 minutes in his nation’s 1-0 defeat to the USA this week in the group-stage tie.

Tapsoba has displayed vision and technical maturity beyond his years and has already earned admirers at several clubs across Europe.

INEOS are making long-term plans as they look to restore the Red Devils to their former glory, with their strategy centered on investing in emerging talents before they take the world by storm.

Tapsoba has emerged as their next target, and the Premier League giants have reportedly sent representatives to Qatar to monitor the teenager.

One for the future

Tapsoba has progressed rapidly through the ranks at Real du Faso and was reportedly wanted by Swedish club Hammarby in the summer. However, the deal did not materialise.

Already considered one of the best young talents of Burkinabe football, there’s a belief that he will eventually end up at one of the top clubs in Europe.

United have a worldwide appeal, thanks to their illustrious history, so the young forward could be tempted by a move to the Theatre of Dreams.

While he is not ready for first-team football just yet, the teenager could be the Red Devils’ diamond in the rough.
