Marco Silva without Georgiy Sudakov for Benfica v Vitória de Guimarães after injury | OneFootball

Georgiy Sudakov has returned to Benfica but will miss Sunday’s home game against Vitória de Guimarães due to injury, a setback for Marco Silva.

According to Glorioso 1904, there is no definitive diagnosis yet, and the expectation is that he will be sidelined for a few matches.

The 24-year-old was hurt in last Friday’s game after a heavy challenge from Spencer. The problem then ruled him out of Ukraine’s Nations League meeting with Hungary on Monday, which was matchday four.

Before leaving national team camp, Sudakov said in a social media post that this was not how he wanted to end the window, the injury had cut it short, and it is time to recover and come back stronger.

Benfica have further concerns. Bah did not join up with his national side because of a right shoulder issue, and Jakub Kaminski was released by Poland after sustaining an adductor injury.
