Marseille set to miss out on signing Lucas Perri on loan from Leeds United | OneFootball

According to a report from Sky Sports, Leeds United goalkeeper Lucas Perri (28) is set to join Torino on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy. Olympique de Marseille tried to hijack the Italian club’s move for the Brazilian international goalkeeper, but this has failed, and the Ligue 1 club will be forced to focus on other goalkeeping targets. 

Torino’s move for the former Lyon stopper stalled as OM entered the race for his services. Despite Les Phocéens interest in the keeper, he has decided that a move to Turin would be the next best step after a difficult spell in West Yorkshire with Leeds. 

Leeds United to sign new goalkeeper

With Perri set to depart Elland Road, the Premier League club will now enter the market for a new goalkeeper. Any signing of a goalkeeper will be a back up after they broke their club record transfer fee to sign James Trafford from Manchester City earlier this window.
