Mattéo Guendouzi has been handed a four-match suspension and a €50,000 fine for provoking Olympique Lyonnais, UEFA confirmed on Friday.

The punishment follows incidents at the end of the Champions League play-off second leg between OL and Fenerbahçe, won 2-0 by the Turkish club.

The former Marseille midfielder was deemed to have insulted people present, provoked spectators and breached fundamental standards of good conduct. The decision carries a one-year probationary period.

Mason Greenwood was also given a one-match ban and a €30,000 fine.

Lyon goalkeeping coach Antonio Ferreira received a five-match suspension for attempting to fight with Guendouzi.
