RC Lens have signed Servette FC winger Junior Kadile (23) on loan with an option to buy, both clubs have announced. The Artois side’s option to make Kadile’s move permanent is reportedly worth €6m. The Artois side were in the market for a winger to bring competition to both Abdallah Sima and Florian Thauvin. Lens also needed to replace Allan Saint-Maximin. The Rennes Academy graduate will wear the No. 28 jersey for Les Sang et Or.

The 23-year-old Kadile has caught the eye of several European clubs in logging 12 goals and 17 assists in 40 games with Servette FC. “He’s a winger who can drive forward and unbalance defenses, capable of creating scoring opportunities for himself“, said Lens Sporting Director Jean-Louis Leca. “He’s also a true team player, skillful in the penalty area, who knows how to put his teammates in the best positions to score.”

Kadile could make his RC Lens debut on Saturday against FC Lorient. He’s the seventh signing of Lens’ summer transfer window.
