OL condemn racist attack on councillor and partner

OL have condemned a racist assault on a local elected official and her partner.

According to Le Progres, the club said it firmly condemns all forms of violence and is supporting the victims.

The victims were identified as Meriem Bouchedda, a municipal councillor in Rillieux-la-Pape, and her partner.

The club’s position was set out three days after the incident.

The assault occurred around OL’s match against Le Havre.
