On their radar for some time: Bayern to continue monitoring BVB star | OneFootball

FC Bayern Munich always keeps a close eye on the transfer market. Reports now suggest that a player from Borussia Dortmund is also set to play a role at the record-holding champions. 

Bayern’s transfer strategy calls for making select top-tier signings, such as Luis Diaz, Michael Olise, or Harry Kane. Furthermore, the team is to be consistently bolstered with suitable players. Recent examples of this include Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown.

Young talents—whether acquired or developed at the club’s own academy—are intended to serve as a third pillar. There have been several positive examples of this in recent years.

FC Bayern is keeping an eye on a BVB prospect

Bayern also has its eye on one BVB prospect: Samuele Inacio, the young attacking player who has already made his Bundesliga debut, among other appearances.

According to Italian sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Bayern is among the teams interested in the 18-year-old. In an interview with the website Wettfreunde, the transfer expert also stated that the record champions have been monitoring the player for some time.

“When he was younger and playing for Atalanta, he had to decide where he wanted to go. Not only had Borussia Dortmund contacted him and his family, but so had FC Bayern Munich. So he traveled to Munich with his family to check out the facilities and talk to the club,” explained Gianluca Di Marzio.

The expert is certain: “He’s definitely on FC Bayern Munich’s radar, too, because they wanted him even when he was still at Atalanta. He’s a player they’ve had their eye on for quite some time, and they’ve been watching him over the past few months.”

At the start of the season, Inacio had already appeared in a few competitive matches, though he was sent off in the Super Cup against Bayern. According to the transfer expert, a move to FCB could come up again in the future: “So it wouldn’t surprise me if FC Bayern Munich tried to sign an old transfer target—not in January, but in the summer.”

However, several teams from Italy’s Serie A are also interested in the young dribbler. So the competition is fierce.
