Leicester City have been handed a double attacking boost, with Aaron Ramsey and Jeremy Monga available for the trip to QPR at Loftus Road this weekend. According to LeicesterMercury.co.uk, Marti Cifuentes confirmed on Thursday that both players are in contention after strong training work.

For Monga, it could be a first outing in a few weeks, while Ramsey is in line for his first appearance since late October. A hamstring injury at Millwall sidelined him for nine matches.

Patson Daka has left to join Zambia ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations starting this weekend. There are otherwise no new injury issues for the manager to address.

Caleb Okoli is close to a return from a knee problem and could come into contention by Watford on Boxing Day. He is a little ahead of schedule, has begun parts of training, and, if all goes well, hopefully next week he will join the group. He will not be ready for Saturday.

Boubakary Soumare also has a knee issue and may be looking at a comeback early in the new year. He remains in gym-based rehab and, hopefully, will be back on the pitch next week.

Harry Souttar is back in training after an Achilles tear but there is still no timeline for his return. After a year out, any firmer update may arrive in the coming days and weeks if his progress continues.
