Roony Bardghji has suffered another rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during Barcelona training. Sport reports that he is expected to be sidelined for six to seven months.

The 19-year-old had been linked with a move after his first season at Barcelona. Ajax Amsterdam were cited as a possible destination, in the event of Mika Godts leaving for PSG.

It comes a little over two years after his previous right ACL rupture, which kept him out for just under a year.

It is the same right knee that was operated on in 2024.

This setback should also end any possibility of a departure this summer.
