Santa Fe v Corinthians Feminino: where to watch, team news, line-ups

Corinthians returns to the field this Wednesday, the 8th, for the Women's Copa Libertadores. In a match valid for the third round of Group A, the Brabas face Independiente Santa Fe-COL at Estádio Florencio Sola, in Banfield, Argentina, at 8:00 PM (Brasília time), aiming to qualify for the quarterfinals of the competition, as well as to finish the group stage at the top of the group.

So far, the team has four points, earned through a 1-1 draw with Dragonas Independiente del Valle-EQU in the first round and an 11-0 thrashing of Always Ready-BOL in the following match. With this, the Alvinegro depends only on themselves to secure a spot in the knockout stage, needing just a draw to finish at least in second place, and a simple win to finish first.

Corinthians Lineup

Coach Lucas Piccinato is expected to field a lineup with Nicole; Gi Fernandes, Thais Ferreira, Mariza, and Tamires; Dayana Rodríguez, Duda Sampaio (Letícia Monteiro), and Gabi Zanotti; Gisela Robledo, Vic Albuquerque, and Jhonson.

Conmebol has not yet announced the refereeing team for the match.

Next Fixture

After facing Independiente Santa Fe, the Brabas' schedule is still undefined, but if they confirm their qualification to the Copa Libertadores knockout stage, they will play again next Saturday, the 11th, in the quarterfinals of the competition, against a team from Group B, in which Ferroviária is already qualified and the other spot is being contested by Boca Juniors-ARG and Alianza Lima-PER.
