Selma Bacha has withdrawn from the France squad with a right ankle sprain and returned to Lyon.

Bacha had been hurt late in the 4-0 Coupe de la Ligue féminine semi-final at Dijon. She is not being replaced in Laurent Bonadei’s squad.

Real Madrid forward Naomie Feller has also left the group with a back problem.

Back in Lyon, Bacha will continue treatment alongside Teagan Micah, Inès Benyahia and Wendie Renard. Féerine Belhadj, Korbin Shrader, Ashley Lawrence and Tabitha Chawinga are not involved in this international window.

For the first two 2027 Women’s World Cup qualifiers, three Lyonnaises in the remaining 24 could face Ireland on 3 March and Poland on 7 March. They are Alice Sombath, Kadidiatou Diani and Marie-Antoinette Katoto.
