Sevilla FC will discover their first Copa del Rey opponent on Monday, with the Group IV draw shaped by geography.

According to La Colina De Nervion, 112 clubs enter this stage, 16 from the top flight, while the four Supercopa participants, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid and Real Sociedad, start at the round of 32.

There will be 56 ties, with winners into round two. Draws favour lower-tier hosts and minimise travel. Sevilla FC will soon learn their hurdle to continue.

Group IV includes Real Betis Balompié, Rayo Vallecano and Getafe CF from Primera División. Segunda features UD Las Palmas, Córdoba CF, CD Leganés, Cádiz CF and CD Tenerife. The pot also contains clubs from Primera, Segunda and Tercera Federación.

Lower-division candidates include CD Extremadura, CF Rayo Majadahonda, CD Coria, Xerez CD, UD San Sebastián de los Reyes, RSD Alcalá, CD Ciudad Lucena, CD Atlético Paso, CD Don Benito, CD Badajoz and CF Trival Valderas Alcorcón. RC Recreativo de Huelva and CDA Navalcarnero arrive via the Copa Federación.

UB Lebrijana could yet join the group, pending Saturday three October’s second leg against CD Ceuta 6 de Junio. The AD Sporting de Hortaleza v Atlético Unión Güímar winner will also complete the options.

Luis García Plaza’s side will draw their opponent from this pool. Sevilla FC have won the competition five times, beating CE Sabadell 3-0 in 1935, Racing de Ferrol 6-2 in 1939, Celta de Vigo 4-1 in 1948, Getafe 1-0 in 2007 and Atlético de Madrid 2-0 in 2010.
