All the latest transfer news surrounding Sheffield Wednesday
Sheffield Wednesday are preparing for life in League One for next season.
The Owls are under new ownership after Arise Capital completed their takeover of the club two months ago.
The Yorkshire outfit endured a difficult season in the Championship, finishing bottom of the table under Henrik Pedersen.
Previous owner Dejphon Chansiri oversaw significant financial mismanagement, which ultimately led to administration.
Pedersen will now be keen to rebuild the first team squad, with the League One side looking to get back to a competitive level.
Here, we look at all the latest transfer news surrounding Sheffield Wednesday...

It was reported by Sky Sports via their transfer centre on Thursday (1:15pm) that talks between Sheffield Wednesday and Manchester City are progressing for Pierce Charles to return to the Etihad Stadium.
The Premier League side are optimistic that a deal can be agreed between the two clubs, as they look to bolster their goalkeeper options amid uncertainty over James Trafford’s future.
The 20-year-old came through the ranks of the Man City academy system before moving to Hillsborough in 2024.
The Northern Irishman has made 27 appearances in the Championship across the last two seasons, but is now entering the final 12 months of his current contract, and the Owls now look set to cash in.
Fabrizio Romano is claiming that the formalities of a deal between the two clubs have been sorted, and now it's a case of whether to loan Charles back out for the 2026-27 season - if he does do that, then you wouldn't expect him to be back at Wednesday in League One.

Sheffield Wednesday have confirmed the addition of Sil Swinkels to the first-team squad.
The left-footed centre-back has arrived from Aston Villa, agreeing to a three-year contract that will keep him with the Yorkshire outfit until June 2029.
The 22-year-old was unable to break into the Premier League side’s first team plans, which has led to his switch to League One, and it follows on from a loan stint at Chesterfield in the second half of last season.
Swinkels is the third signing of the summer for Sheffield Wednesday, who have also added Ricardo Santos and Callum Slattery in the early stages of the market.

It has been reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post that Sheffield Wednesday are closing in on an agreement to sign Harry Gray on loan.
The teenager is the younger brother of Tottenham Hotspur’s Archie Gray, and has yet to break into Daniel Farke’s first team plans at Elland Road.
The Whites are hoping he can gain experience on loan in League One next season, with Sheffield Wednesday looking likely to win the race to his signature.
Huddersfield Town were also interested in a deal, but Gray could be the latest addition to Pedersen’s side.
Gray spent last season on loan with Rotherham United, where he made 20 appearances in the league, contributing three goals and one assist.

Wanya Marçal is currently training with the Sheffield Wednesday first team, according to The Star.
The 23-year-old is a free agent following his exit from Leicester City after his contract expired this summer.
The winger struggled for game time with the Foxes, making just two league appearances during his time at the club, both of which came as a substitute.
No decision has yet been made on whether he will be offered a full-time contract, with Pedersen taking a close look at him with the squad now back for pre-season.
