Sparta Rotterdam have signed Casper Terho on loan from OH Leuven until the end of the season. The Eredivisie side have also agreed a purchase option for Terho, who himself had only just joined OH Leuven at the start of the season. However, the move from Union St Gilloise has not gone as either the player or club hoped, and now Sparta Rotterdam will be looking for the Finnish winger to help them for the rest of the campaign. The purchase option that has been included as part of the deal has not been revealed.

Terho leaves OH Leuven with just 13 appearances, without any goals or assists. During his time with Union, Terho had shown some potential. In 51 games for the club he scored seen goals. During the second half of the 2024/2025 season, in which Union won the Belgian Pro League, Terho was loaned out to Paderborn. The 22-year-old played 11 games for the German side, providing one assist. Terho now joins a Sparta Rotterdam side who are fifth in the Eredivisie and hoping for European football.
