Thomas Tuchel has acknowledged his handling of Trent Alexander-Arnold may have been unfair, as the Real Madrid defender returned to England's squad for upcoming Nations League fixtures after an impressive start under Jose Mourinho. Alexander-Arnold missed the World Cup.

"Was it always fair? Maybe not from my side. But if you remember, the next camp was September," he told BBC Radio 5 Live.
