Joaquin Freitas is close to being unveiled as Flamengo’s latest signing and arrived in Rio de Janeiro on Monday 31 for medicals.

The 19-year-old River Plate forward broke through at Acassuso, joined River’s under-20s in 2024 and the second team, then was promoted to the senior squad in January. According to Coluna Do Fla, Flamengo have offered 7 million euros, R$ 42 million, for 80% of his economic rights.
