Corinthians completed their final session on Saturday ahead of Chapecoense in the 26th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, with kick-off at Neo Química Arena set for Sunday 6 September at 19:30.
According to Meu Timao, the day began with a tactical video in the Sala de Preleção Flexform at CT Joaquim Grava, followed by gym activation and a passing and movement warm-up. Fernando Diniz then led tactical drills on the pitch, and the group finished with set-piece work.
They will be without goalkeeper Hugo Souza, centre-back Gabriel Paulista and midfielder Raniele through suspension after three yellow cards. Forward Yuri Alberto is still out with a right hamstring injury.
The probable Corinthians side is Kauê in goal, a back four of Matheuzinho, João Pedro Tchoca, Gustavo Henrique and Matheus Bidu, a midfield of Allan, Breno Bidon, Carrillo and Rodrigo Garro, with Kaio César partnered by Memphis up front.
Defender André Ramalho remains out but has recovered from labyrinthitis and joined part of the session. In midfield, André Luiz is treating a grade two injury to his right thigh, and Zakaria Labyad is recovering from a serious left knee issue and will not return this season. Forwards Vitinho, after left meniscus surgery, and Kayke, rehabilitating a left ACL rupture, also remain unavailable.
Corinthians are seeking to end a run of three league defeats. They sit 10th on 32 points, while Chapecoense are bottom with 14.
