“I can’t stand it” – Jamie Carragher gives his verdict on Alejandro Garnacho at Chelsea | OneFootball

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher is the latest pundit to give his opinions on Alejandro Garnacho to Chelsea.

The winger joined The Blues from Manchester United in the summer after months of speculation about his future. It always looked like he was only going to Chelsea from United and was never going to stay at the club or go anywhere else.

And now we have him as a new Chelsea player, but not everyone has been on board with this signing. It wasn’t exactly a signing that excited Chelsea fans, many of whom did not want to see us go for him. I’d say the majority were against the move, some were not, some were all for it. But I think, and hope at least, that they will all collectively back and support him now he is a new Chelsea player and give him every chance to prove himself to the faithful.

Even pundits appear split on Garnacho, but Carragher’s reason for not rating the signing is just ridiculous and typical of this Chelsea-hating man.

“You know what I didn’t like?’ Carragher began. ‘Did you see the game [against Fulham], when they go to the people in the stands and they are on their phones with the game going on?

“I can’t stand it. And it’s not just him by the way, but I can’t stand it. So it’s a miss for that. For sitting on his phone during an important game for Chelsea.”

What a ridiculous thing to say and very typical of a man who truly hates our football club and is the most biased pundit I’ve ever known.
