Report – Chivu Rotates Inter Milan Goalkeepers As Nerazzurri Target Serie A Duo | OneFootball

As Inter coach Cristian Chivu looks set to rotate Josep Martinez into his team for Yann Sommer, reports from Italy claim the Nerazzurri are keeping a close eye on two Serie A goalkeepers.

According to what has been reported by today’s edition of Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, Inter have targeted Elia Caprile and Marco Carnesecchi.

The reports claim that while the latter may be the Nerazzurri’s first choice, Atalanta will not let him go for cheap.

Press linked the 25-year-old with a move away from Bergamo in the summer but he ended up staying.

Sommer is in the final year of his contract and Inter begin to prepare for life without him.

On Friday, Inter sent a scout to Lecce to watch the match against Cagliari, where Elia Caprile starred in goal.

However, in the summer, the Sardinian side set an asking price of €20 million for the Italian goalkeeper.

Meanwhile, Spaniard Josep Martinez prepares for his first start of the season.

Chivu has chosen the Spaniard to replace Sommer between the posts as Inter host Sassuolo.
