"I had never played in the Primera División before, and it was a dream come true to make my debut. To do that at a stadium like this one was even better. At the end, my family were up there, all together, watching me make my debut. It was a dream come true, especially at this spectacular stadium. As an opposition player, it’s incredible; I can't even imagine the first day I set foot in Mestalla with the fans here supporting me. I’ll be able to say that I played at Mestalla for Valencia CF, which is something to be grateful for. I'll give everything so that we can say goodbye to this great stadium with the highest possible achievements."

His arrival at Valencia CF

"I'm very happy and very excited to take on this new challenge. It's the first time I've left one club and gone to another, so I'm a little nervous, but very happy. I know the pressure that comes with wearing this shirt, but I'm really eager to make my debut, to play, and to bring joy to our fans."

His characteristics

"I'm a player who always gives his all on the pitch. A player who adapts to all kinds of situations. I've already played at right-back, left-back, center-back, and central midfield in a single season. I think that helps you become a good player.

I'm here to help the team, to continue growing as a footballer and as a person, and I'll give everything for us to achieve Valencia CF's goals."

Experience with the Spain Under-21s

"I was in the Spain Under-21s, where I played with Jesús Vázquez, Diego López and Javi Guerra. I know Luis Rioja too. I actually spoke with some of them before coming here. They welcomed me and they told me they were happy to see me here. We had a great group with the national team, and I got along really well with them, so I'm happy to be here with them now."

His conversation with Carlos Corberán

“I spoke with the coach, and the confidence he showed in me also influenced my decision to come here."

His pastimes

I like to switch off. Especially when I get home after lunch, I lie down on the sofa and relax. Some afternoons I also like to unwind by playing golf. Obviously, it's much better with other people, but sometimes if there's no one to play with, I go to the course alone to disconnect as well, which I also enjoy. We play Fortnite too. It's been five months since I last touched a computer, but... I'm probably going to get hooked again.

His connection with Valencia

"I have family here: my mother, my aunt, and their family are from here. They're also happy to know I'm going back to their homeland. I think that when I was at Girona they were close by and could come to every game. Here we're not that far away either, and they'll definitely come because they love football."

The fans

“If you look up there and the whole stadium is full, every match, they're cheering you on, they're behind you, and we're all in this together, we'll achieve many good things at this stadium.”
