Corinthians hand Kaio César the 37 shirt for loan spell | OneFootball

Corinthians have assigned new forward Kaio César the number 37 shirt following his arrival on loan from Al-Hilal.

The club said in a post confirming the squad number, unveiling artwork of the shirt bearing his name.

His loan runs until 31 December 2026. He has been registered in the CBF’s Boletim Informativo Diário, meaning he can feature in the Supercopa do Brasil on Sunday.

His presentation, planned for Friday, was postponed due to a power outage at CT Joaquim Grava after heavy rain.

The announcement also drew criticism after an image of the Saudi Arabian flag was incorrectly placed, prompting complaints from Saudis and Islamists and the deletion of a club post.

A right winger, Kaio César will aim to convince head coach Dorival Júnior he can start in a 4-3-1-2 or 4-3-3. Options on the right include Dieguinho and Vitinho, with Yuri Alberto, Memphis Depay, Gui Negão, Pedro Raul and Kayke available centrally.
