Raphinha responds to his comeback in Barcelona’s win over Athletic Club | OneFootball

Barcelona star Raphinha has taken to social media, to reveal his delight with making his long-awaited return to the pitch.

Barca were of course back in action yesterday evening.

In the club’s post-international break comeback, they welcomed Athletic Club to Catalunya’s capital for the first competitive fixture at the Spotify Camp Nou since all the way back in 2023.

When all was said and done, Hansi Flick’s troops emerged on the right side of a 4-0 result.

And a stellar day all told for the Blaugrana was made even more special by the return to the pitch of the aforementioned Raphinha.

After two months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, the Brazilian was introduced to proceedings off the bench during the 2nd-half.

And as alluded to above, Raphinha has for his part since moved to confirm his excitement with Saturday’s developments.

In a post on his official Instagram account, the former Leeds United man wrote:

‘Feels good to be back and at home. Important 3 points.’
