Vasco sign Colidio as new number nine on deal to 2029 | OneFootball

According to Globo.com, Vasco have signed 26-year-old forward Colidio on a contract running to the end of 2029, and he will wear the number nine shirt.

He has been in Rio de Janeiro since Friday, after the club signalled a pre-agreement.

Colidio said he is eager to reach his highest level with Vasco, thanked fans for their messages on social media, acknowledged the size of the club and hopes to bring plenty of joy.

His registration was not completed in time, as the Argentine Football Association did not send the paperwork before Conmebol’s deadline on Monday, so he will not face Olimpia of Paraguay.

Vasco play Olimpia on Thursday at 19:00 Brasília time in the first leg of the Sul-Americana round of 16. The return is next Thursday, 20 August, in Paraguay.

The Argentine forward came through Atlético Rafaela and has also represented Internazionale, Saint-Truiden, Tigre and River Plate.
